Toddler Tested, Mother Approved - Five Top Educational Programs That Will Entertain Your Toddlers.

Often called the one-eyed monster, there has been much debate over the television viewing habits of children and toddlers.

Being a mother to two toddlers myself, I have to say that I clearly understand both sides of the debate. I do see the pros and the cons of allowing children so young to be entertained by television.

It is in my opinion however, that when used wisely, television can actually be used as an educational tool that holds the potential to encourage and stimulate a love of learning in all toddlers.

1.) Little Einsteins- An early introduction to classical art and music, Little Einsteins provides children from one year to six years of age, with ample sound and visual stimulation for the ears, eyes, and brain.

From the musical compositions of Charles Francois Gounod, to the legendary artwork of Picasso, this educational program takes the young viewer on a densely cultural ride to major landmarks, historical wonders of the world, and exotic destinations that cultivates the most avid of imaginations.

2.) Word World- With it's kitschy catch phrase, "it's time to build a word," this vibrant and colorful show introduces one to six year olds to spelling and proper pronunciation in a cool and unique way.

In addition to the five main characters (Bear, Frog, Duck, Dog, and Sheep) each object in this show is literally made up of the individual letters used to spell the written word.
