Let's face the cold reality ladies; unless we have the money to shell out thousands of dollars for pricey breast augmentations; the mass majority of us will have to face the fact that our once perky breast will be adversely effected by the sometimes cruel, cruel, "law of gravity."
There's no way of getting around it. The more we mature, the lower they get.
Whether it be due to extreme weight loss or weight gain; age or heredity; the inevitable will happen - gravity will take over.
I just happen to be one of those women.
Unfortunately however, the scales were stacked against me three times over since I:
1.) experienced extreme weight gain; I tipped the scales at 180 during my second pregnancy (mind you I'm only 5 ''1 - and I went from a 38 C to a very busty 40 DDD)
2.) am not as young as I use to be and....
3.) the women in my family have a long history of large sagging breast (so I see what my future is going to look like)
Many women like myself, have often wondered if there is a simple, nonsurgical solution to such a nagging problem.
* The Search For A Simple Solution.
In woman-kind's search to find the solution, the market has been flooded with pills, lotions, exercises, and strange gadgets that promise "not only an increase in bust size", but also an overall change in the appearance of a woman's breast.
Not one to spend the very little money I have on gadgets that I'm not even sure will work, I literally stumbled across this simple formula two years ago while conversing with my aunt.
Relaying the concern to her about my ever-changing breast, she let me in on some advice her doctor gave her years ago when she was trying to reduce her breast-milk production.
Not only would this advice help reduce her milk production, it would also help keep her breast from loosing it's shape and significantly reduce sagging (due to the wieght gain and loss).
Since I was breastfeeding at the time, I postponed trying this, but now that I'm in the process of weaning my youngest, I've been faithfully incorporating this formula in my daily beauty regimen everyday now for two months straight.
* The Formula.
A.) First and foremost - and this is just plain common sense - always where a well-fitting, comfortable supportive bra.
Some experts suggest even wearing one to sleep in; but I don't do that personally.
I don't care for the restrictive and binding feeling while I'm sleeping.
B.) Everyday, massage your breast following these steps:
1.) Pour a small amount of cold pressed extra virgin olive oil (and only extra virgin because that is the purest kind) in the palm of your hands.
Why olive oil instead of lotions?
Well, olive oil has been found to:
a.) promote a smooth and radiant complexion (great for making your breast look their best)
b.) help maintain the elasticity of the skin (which no bra can do - although it can support)
c,) it's all natural (no chemicals, dyes, or perfumes)
2.) After rubbing your palms together:
a.) proceed to cup each individual breast in each hand and...
b.) using upward motion; slowly, and generously (not to hard, not to soft) massage both breast until the count of ten.
For those of us who are a little more bustier, maneuvering your breast may be a challenge at first, but the more you do it, the easier it gets.
This can be done after a shower (which I've found is best, since your skin is already taunt from the water), before you get dressed for the day, or whenever you choose.
C.) Drink plenty of water - since the hydration level of the skin is one of the most important factors influencing the skin's elasticity; drink your water!
It's as simple as that! It's vital to remember however, to do this faithfully every day.
* Does It Really Work?
It worked for my aunt - who is in her sixties and has the breast of a twenty year old!
It's working for an acquaintance of mine, who's been trying it for over a month now.
And I've personally seen the results (and happily, so has my husband) over a course of two months!
In addition to an overall change in the shape of my breast, even the elasticity has started to reappear.
At one point, I was loosing the elasticity in over 75% of my breast.
Since I've incorporated this formula in my daily skin regimen; I've seen an significant improvement.
At least 65% of my breast's skin elasticity has improved, while the problem areas seem to be around my areola (which is no doubt all due to breastfeeding).
So if you've got a couple of bucks for cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, some water and time on your hands, you too can get the "girls" (or twins whichever you like) back in tip-top shape.
(If you decide to try this formula for yourself, please let me know if it has worked for you as well- here's to getting the "girls" back in shape!)
*April 22, 2010 update - It is vital to note, that for those who have allergies, it is best to opt for extra virgin olive oil instead of cold pressed, since often times cold pressed olive oil have ingredients that are not listed.

I have been doing self massage for many years and I like the results. never tried olive oil but I did buy some the other week when I read about its wonderful effects on the body.

this does definitely work!!! cold pressed sesame oil and organic virgin coconut oil work too!

Hi Veronica Allen, this is great advice, not only will I use the extra virgin olive oil on my breast but I will try it on my arms and legs as well! Isn't it amazing that there are things that are good for us right in our kitchen or bathroom shelves. I love using natural things, I for one have been under the knife too many times so if is something natural that will serve the same purpose is all I want to hear. This is similar the using preparation-H and Glad wrap to reduce the fat in your stomach. If you haven't read it check out my hub on that topic and to top it all off, water is always the main ingredient to flush away everything isn't it? I enjoyed this hub and thanks so much.
Hmm! Anyone else been trying this besides the author and dianna and has results to report? I'd love to try it.
What is the best brand of extra virgin olive oil you suggest to use? Do you think this helps with stretch marks? or do you have a separate home remedy for that?
thanks for your advice. will get a bottle this weekend and will let you know the results.
Very nice info and tips - I've also read that pomegranate juice when combined with mustard oil can help with sagging breasts.
Laura scrambles wildly for her EVOO! Who would have thought. My girls have travelled miles from where they began after nursing my singleton, then twins. Good grief, I've never heard of this idea. I'm so going to try it and I will keep you posted on my "perkiness". Thanks, Veronica.
I'll try it out and will let you know the results. I have 4 kids and getting back in shape is really hard. Thank you.
what is a good brand for cold pressed extra virgin olive oil... please do suggest something. :-)
This is article is very interesting! I will tried this method and then let you know what results I get.. Thanks for let me in on the secret..
This is so well explained. I love that you wrote all the benefits of olive oil as well. You just can't go wrong using it. I know what I'm going to be doing today.
Thanks a million and rated up of course! Love your hubs!

Thanks so much for writing a hub about something natural. It just can't hurt at all - the elders always knew the benefit of massage.
I shudder when I hear about women going under the knife for such a procedure. My mother taught her daughters that being a woman was beautiful in itself - and my father agreed!
Thanks again Veronica Allen!
