Wal-Mart's $40 General Electric Appliances - Buying Kitchen Appliances On A Budget.

In an effort to beat the prices of all their competitors, local Wal-Mart stores and Wal-Mart.com are now offering a small selection (fifteen) of General Electric household appliances for under $40!
This no doubt is good news to the G.E. conglomerate since recent news reports have stated: "The conglomerate's third-quarter results showed just how fragile the U.S. economy remains, as its troubled financial unit dragged down earnings 44 percent, despite gains in divisions that make wind turbines, household appliances and broadcast television shows." - The Sarasota Herald-Tribune
Items such as the GE 12-Cup Coffee Maker, 1300 watts; GE Electric Skillet; and the GE 3-Liter Deep Fryer are going for $39 in the store and on site.
What does this mean for the consumers?
Simple. -Great household appliances on the cheap.
Offering site-to-store free shipping; these great finds just may be the hot ticket household items this year.

I feel you creativeone59. As a family we tend to practise our gift-giving year round! But these gift ideas would be great not just for those doing their holiday shopping, but also for those purchasing housewarming gifts, or going-away-to-college gifts for those who need them. Great hub for people buying gifts for Christmas, fortunate for us, we don't do Christmas and if we have something to give, we just give it to them. mines will probably be blessed with one of my original jewelry collections and I will think of something for my little ones.
